First and foremost thing that you will have to ensure is to not let your brows get wet for at least a week after the procedure or till your eyebrows scab and peel off. Everyone’s time frame is different. This also means that you should not indulge in any activities that will cause you to sweat excessively. After the scabs have fallen off the strokes will appear as if they are faded but will reappear over a span of 2 days to 30 days due to the regeneration of the skin. Choosing a dark enough pigment is key due to the skins regeneration. When the strokes fall off you will lose the initial pigment by 30%-40%. At first the eyebrows will be very bold, second day being the worst. Clients eyes need to adjust to the new brows and will have to keep in mind that it’s a process. Eventually the strokes will become a lot softer in the end. Most clients come back for the initial touch up but some do not and have perfect looking brows after one session even though Microblading is a two-step process. The touch up session is to there to perfect strokes that are missing and the ones that did not retain pigment.
